Introducing the Newly Opened Dublin Port Greenway

We are pleased over the last few years to have completed the planting design for the Dublin Port Greenway cycle and pedestrian route project. Having been involved for several years, it has been wonderful to see such a positive response from the public and immediate usage of the new route bringing you through previously accessible lands and offering new views and perspectives.

Extensive tree surveys were undertaken by our team to ensure that all areas of vegetation were carefully considered to successfully integrate them within the Greenway route and its new planting. Our planting design included the insertion of native species tolerant to the coastal conditions and soils providing natural barriers against the elements. Mature trees, coastal woodland, wildflowers, native hedging and specimen block planting of hollies, grasses and ferns. Existing habitats and wildlife corridors were identified early in the project, to ensure their preservation and our designs would strengthen them with our additional planting.
